What is DTF printing?
DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a method that prints a full-color design onto transfer film and applies it to compatible fabric using heat and pressure. What can DTF transfers be used for?
DTF transfers can be applied to custom T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hats and caps, tote bags, jerseys, jackets, polos, tank tops, long sleeves, baby onesies, aprons, and other compatible apparel. Common uses include individual custom pieces, business apparel, team uniforms, event shirts, clothing brands, and larger production runs.
Can you print my custom design as a DTF transfer?
Yes. We print your own artwork as a DTF transfer. Send your design as a transparent PNG at 300 DPI for best results; we also accept PDF, AI, and high-resolution JPG files. If your file needs adjustment, our design team can help clean up or rebuild artwork for a flat fee.
What file format should I send for DTF printing?
Transparent PNG at 300 DPI is preferred. We also accept PDF and AI files (vector is best for logos) and high-resolution JPG. Avoid JPGs with flat backgrounds, which can print a visible rectangle around your design.
What resolution should my artwork be?
300 DPI at the size you want it printed. Lower-resolution files may look blurry or pixelated when pressed. If your file is too small, our design team can often recreate it for a flat fee.
Do you print DTF gang sheets?
Yes. We print custom DTF gang sheets that combine multiple designs on a single sheet. See our Gang Sheets page for available sizes, volume pricing, and ordering details.
Can I order DTF transfers without ordering shirts?
Yes. You can order DTF transfers by themselves — send your artwork and we will print ready-to-press transfers for you to apply. Gang sheets are a popular option for ordering multiple transfers at once.
Do you offer local pickup in American Canyon?
Yes. In-person pickup is available at our shop at 3429 Broadway St, Suite C-4, American Canyon, CA during business hours. Online checkout and shipping are coming soon; until then, contact us if you need delivery and we will do our best to arrange it.
How long do DTF orders take?
Most DTF orders are ready within 1–3 business days. Gang sheets typically print in 1–2 business days after artwork approval and payment are received. Turnaround depends on order size, workload, and artwork readiness, and excludes weekends and holidays.
Do you offer rush DTF printing?
Rush turnaround (same or next day, depending on volume and workload) is often available for an additional fee. Call or text 707-333-4342 to check current rush availability before sending payment.
How do I order DTF transfers?
Send your artwork and request a quote through our contact page or by calling or texting 707-333-4342. For gang sheet orders, pick your sheet size and quantity, send payment via Venmo to @hectorvale_ (or pay in person), and upload your file through the Gang Sheets page. We confirm every order within 1 business day once payment and files are received.
